GoWarm’s area of expertise is in community engagement, carrying out door-to-door, street-by-street assessments, collating and analysing data in bespoke data bases and reporting on the activity. It has successfully completed more than 250,000 full door-step assessments over the past two years.
Over the past 24 months, partnering with its sister subsidiaries CES North East and CES Yorkshire & Humber, this work has been extended to support several community gas network extension projects with the GoWarm team carrying out the vital door-step assessment process to find those homes off the gas network, to determine whether they want a connection and whether they would be interested in a heating system.
GoWarm has also partnered with E.ON to work in Luton, Manchester, Birmingham, South Staffordshire and Teesdale to carry our doorstep assessments to identify homes in fuel poverty that could benefit from a package of free energy efficiency measures worth more than £15,000 per property.
